Trome
The newspaper “El Trome” -launched by “El Comercio” in June 2001- became the best-selling newspaper of the group and one of the most traded in Latin America with more than 700 thousand copies per day with a range of more than 2 million people in the same period, according to studies published by the “Sociedad de Empresas Periodísticas del Perú (Peruvian Society of Media Enterprises”). The popular tabloid covers news related to the police, entertainment and sports with an informal style which is easy to read. It is currently one of the most important products of the Miró Quesada family’s company.
